NWA Signs Natalia Markova to Multi-Year Contract

The National Wrestling Alliance, “The Crush” Natalia Markova Reach Multi-Year Agreement

The National Wrestling Alliance will see much more of Natalia Markova. The NWA announces it has signed the pro wrestling veteran to a new, long-term contract.

“I signed a multi-year deal with NWA,” Markova shared with her avid social media following June 13, 2024. “Now I have a dream job that pays my bills!”

Markova has long been a cornerstone of the NWA. “The Crush” has repeatedly challenged for the NWA Women’s World title during her tenure in the company, anchoring multiple NWA pay-per-views and Signature Live Events over the past three years.

“Markova is probably one of the only people in the NWA who’s done everything I’ve asked her not only to a ‘T,’ but better than I asked her to do it,” NWA President William Patrick Corgan said of the superstar on an episode of Billy Corgan’s Adventures in Carnyland.

The eight-part, unscripted reality series now streaming on The CW takes a close look at Markova’s pursuit of the NWA Women’s World title. Though the veteran grappler has thus far fallen short of capturing “The Burke,” it is apparent why securing her to a long-term NWA deal was such an easy decision.

Markova made her NWA debut during a December 2021 television taping, becoming a mainstay soon after. A world-traveled competitor, Markova is a former champion in both SHINE and House of Glory, where she held the women’s title.

“The Crush” is among the many NWA superstars scheduled to appear at NWA 76. The biggest Signature Live Event of the year, NWA’s anniversary spectacular comes to Philadelphia’s famed 2300 Arena on August 31, 2024. Tickets are on sale now.
